About the Artist
WHAT BROUGHT ME TO ART
I have had the opportunity to live in various places in the United States and England and to travel throughout Europe and the United States. The bonus to this life was visiting numerous renown art galleries, museums and the world's landscapes which inflamed my interest in art. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento, I continually honed my art skills in self-study, classes and workshops and I love being a professional artist these past 26 years and selling my paintings throughout the United States.
I have been with many galleries throughout Northern California and Central Florida including 4 Solo shows: the California State Capitol, the Leesburg Center for the Arts, CITYARTS in Orlando and the Ocala International Airport. My floral paintings have been on the cover of area magazines, and I have won numerous awards in national and regional art shows. I also displayed my work at The California Museum (Sacramento), Folsom History Museum and regional venues and now I live in the beautiful state of Florida close to family and friends. I was invited to display my WATERSCAPES at the OCALA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for 6 months which concludes December 22, 2026.
My art includes seascapes, floral portraits, scenes of Florida waterways, national parks and many others. Come along with me in this art adventure and contact me with comments and ideas you would like to see on this website.
